Game Day Outfits

Even though I’m a girly girl, I love football. I have fun when it comes to dressing up for games because I have a lot of options to choose from. To commemorate today’s NFC Championship game(my team being the Seattle Seahawks, of course) I wanted to show girls four different types of outfits you could wear for the big football game.

Outfit #1: Easy Does It

For this first outfit, I went with the motto “easy does it.” This is a very easy outfit to duplicate because all you have to do is wear your team’s colors. I wore a green tank top under a loose blue shirt with blue jean capris and blue flip flops. Easy, and cheap.

Outfit #2: Team Spirit

For the second outfit, I thought of an outfit girls can wear on a warmer day. Since I live in Texas, we have a lot of these days. I found a $15 Seahawks shirt at Wal-Mart and paired it with some white shorts, white flip flops, and a Seahawks cap that I borrowed from my dad. This option is still pretty cheap and very simple.

Outfit #3: Girly Girl

For the third outfit, my main target was the girly girl who wears lots of skirts and dresses. I wore a dark blue skirt with a green tank top and a white shrug, blue flip flops, and a Seahawks hat (which is optional for this outfit). This outfit would be inexpensive for the girly girl since she probably already owns a skirt and shirts in her team’s colors.

Outfit #4: The Die-Hard Fan

The fourth outfit is made for the die-hard fan because you have to be a big fan to buy a jersey. They can range anywhere from $70-$150 whether you buy it online or find it in a store. I was lucky enough to get my jersey at the factory stores and I got it in a Youth Extra-Large, so my jersey was much cheaper than the ones you would find online. I paired my jersey with white jeans and fur-lined boots. The more expensive option, but worth it if you will be watching your team all season.

Here are four different options for your game day outfit. Here are some more ideas for outfits you can put together on game day. You can also accessorize by wearing jewelry that is your team’s colors, scarfs, a dress instead of a skirt, etc. Just have fun dressing up and enjoy the game. 🙂
